Mein neues Leben

Now i know why im so grumpy the last days, “Ich habe Heimweh”. No matter how i try to keep myself busy to avoid thinking about my friends and family in pinas, i still ended up staring on nothing, and when i try to surf the net, i just notice that im spending so much time on pinoy news, or looking our old pictures online.

But one thing bothered me, i miss this “drink” which i was looking for ages here in DE. Sadly they dont have it (if ever someone knows where i can buy it, pls send me email =P).Ok Ok i miss “Sarsi” the popular rootbeer which got popular because of the commercial of guy drank it with “Egg”. Yup i love sarsi, of course without the egg. Theres a lot of rootbeer back home esp american brands like A&W which is really good with ice cream, aaah “Rootbeer float”.

My loving Bossing bought this drink for me, its Malz beer alcohol free, it has a caramel taste. I’m not a beer drinker, that’s why im not really fascinated with beers although I’m in beerland. Karamalz as the brand name is totally different from my one and only Sarsi though it can make me calm in its own way.

I’m sure Sarsi is only one of the reasons of my homesickness. I really miss my pinas friends and family. Guess that’s the biggest challenge for people like me who are away from their first homes.

I dont know if its because my period is coming soon or it is just that im not in the mood extending my patience. Lately i notice that  easily get irritated about little things, i feel sad and down.  I hope it gets better soon.

I was so sleepy last night that resulted to sleeping my head off until 11am today. Usually upon waking up and after going to the toilet i go straight to my computer and check for online news. I was so shocked when i saw the news , pinaguusapan palang namin sya nung isang araw sa tambayan He was so great in “Brokeback Mountain” and i believed he has touched so many lives in doing this movie.

Lets pray for Heath’s soul.

A left for korea today, my inlaws and i brought him to the aiport. Sad =(, Its obvious i cant sleep, im still blogging, surfing and chatting with my friends. Tom i hope its better

yipeeee, my new url is now active. i get to have my old name lilay back. now im still thinking if i will maintain my free blog from wp, probably not anymore since i already transferred most of my post here…hmmm maybe i can still use it for my tagalog post dumdidumdidum, we’ll see.

Today is my first and official choir rehearsal. I was a bit surprised seeing so many new faces. I was able to attend one rehearsal last year with sil just to watch her. I also pretty know most of them and went out several times for billiards and eats. The mainstays were happy to see me, finally after almost a year of convincing me to join them, i was finally one of them. I got a little bit nervous during our exercise but it was ok, knowing that im not the only newbie made me feel a little bit better. We sang 6 german church songs and one english. It was not easy aber geht.

Welcome to my new abode. Yup i just moved in, in preparation for *you know* ssssh. As you can see its still a bit chaotic here and im still waiting for my permanent address kaya naka direct ako sa server ng employer ko .To date, im still learning how wp works though its not new to me since my old house was at wp also. But since i decided to go independent, i must learn how create things on my own. Anyway, WELCOME!!!!

1. That my Mudra and my Father in law are now in good health after their medical challenges last year 2007.

2. That i have a suuuper duuuper handsome Husbandry na nakahelmet para hindi mauntog =P , so loving and understanding.

5. A and me are healthy and happy kahit wala pang baby

6. That we have TV *babaw*, i get to watch my favorite germanovelas kahit diko naiintindihan talo talo na yan

7. That we have internet, i can surf, chat and blog to sawa

8. That God is always there..amen!!!

“Tom they will collect the trees”, this is what A told me saturday night. The garbage and collection services will collect the used xmas trees saturday at 9am. Whaaat?9am is too early, esp for A since sat and sun are the only days we can sleep our heads off (tulog to the max). So forget about the xmas tree!!!! Today monday, i have to deal with it whether i like or not. Ok, im no xmas tree hater, but of course after the holiday season everything should be back to normal not to mention the cleaning and organizing of everthing again. Solution:i had to do it my way “Oplan chop-chop xmas” i did it also last year, its becoming like a tradition already..not a good one though =P. Artificial xmas tree is not a bad idea like what Ive read from Moderately Confused Pinay. Haay manic monday!!!

We went to the city to look for a travel book to South Korea. Yup, A is leaving this Sunday for a week work assignment, so I will be home alone. After going to 3 different bookshops I notice that there were not so many korean books, even phils books. We only saw 2 books about south korea and seoul both were from lonelyplanet. I thought korea is not also a tourist destination like pinas unlike hongkong or china. All of a sudden I remembered my korean friend so-yun. I like korea esp the korean telenovelas, I like their colorful culture eventhough I only saw it on TV. A wanted to see the books first before odering it online so he can browse it and check if it has more useful infos. Haay, if only A can bring me also, but the ticket is crazily expensive. Anyway, I will be home alone and that means I will have my “eating like in pinas” festival bwhahahahahah
