Mein neues Leben

Who says winter is over, here in DE its still freezing cold. Yesterday we drove to Taunus for a sleigh ride and i was so shock to see about 35cm thick snow. The place is not far from where i live, it took us only about less than an hour drive compared to Schwarzwald just to see fresh snow. The whole area was covered of fresh snow. Now i know what A’s talking about “fresh snow”. It is powdery and soft unlike the hard and sticky snow which is ideal for making snowball and snowman.After few hours of having fun we decided to go home and we had hot chocolate and xmas biscuits , feeling like its still Xmas =P

White Easter Monday!!!

Last year i got the chance to make easter eggs with sil. This year i did it myself. I made simple colored eggs for my inlaws as easter give aways together with chocolates. My eggs are not attractive compared to my last year’s eggs, but who cares i just want to make easter eggs =P. Making easter eggs back home is not that popular, thats why i m always amaze to see how here in DE they make eater eggs and celebrate easter. Here we celebrated easter by going to church on the night of black saturday but since we have prev commitment, we went sunday morning instead, then the yearly easter sunday lunch with the family and eggs and sweets giving afterwards. We have a funny weather this year,its cold like winter and even snowing… as the funny joke i heard from the radio “Frohe Einachten” which in my own translation “Merry Eggmas” =P

The whole family vacation was a success, we went to “Centerparcs” in Hochsauerland. It is also here in DE but its in another state, about 3hrs drive. The place reminded me of Fontana and Mimosa but a lot bigger without the casino =P, you can rent villas,it has what they call “Waterhouse” a thermo resort where you can enjoy swimming,relaxing,eating,shopping,play arcade games w/o freezing coz its heated esp in winter. The whole stay was awesome, esp waking up seeing the ducks roaming around the villa and waiting for breads hehehe, and oh it snowed. Interesting place,you can enjoy the coldness of winter in your villa and the tropic weather when going to the waterhouse.
